Natasha Griggs (Youth Services Librarian Ruth
Faulkner Public Library
City of Belmont)
Thursday 8th September 2005
Thank
you very much for a wonderful performance at our
library. It was the perfect event to commence our
Children’s Book Week celebrations. It takes a
talented performer to captivate an audience of young
children for an hour and you did it with ease. Feed
back from teachers has been extremely positive and
they were particularly impressed with the
educational content of your performance.
I
have organized Children’s book week programs for
over 14 years and working with performers such as
yourself who clearly have high professional
standards ensures that my job is so much easier to
do. I will certainly be requesting your services
again in the near future and I would have no
hesitation in recommending you to others.
Tony Moore ( Principal Chrysalis Montessori)18/02/05
Keith's
performance and follow-on's were well received by
our school. The students all enjoyed the music and
stories. The community have enjoyed class
performances of Keith's music at our school
meetings. It was a really fun session packed with
good learning.
Anita Wills (Deputy Principal Bruce Rock District High
school) 23/03/2005
Keith's organization was
professional and his show was very entertaining.
Parents, staff and students who attended were engaged
and entertained (despite the very hot conditions) and
the feedback from all was enthusiastic and positive.

Dear Keith The

Keith McDonald
visited Roebourne Primary School and performed for children
from kindy to year seven in 2005. Mr. Mac’s Music
entertained a variety of ages in a dynamic and energetic
performance. I have no hesitation recommending this
performance for primary schools. The performance was
interactive, funny and included the importance of self
esteem and self belief. The students and staff at our school
thoroughly enjoyed the performance and continue listening to
the songs on the CD.
Karen Talbot - Music Specialist at Roleystone Primary
School (6/08/04)
This week we had the opportunity to have an inspirational,
lively, positive, enthusiastic,
appropriate performance from Mr Mac's Music in our school.
Not only were the children and staff
happily involved in participating in the concert itself, but
we also included follow-up workshops
with Keith McDonald in every class in the school over the
next 2 days - an absolutely fabulous thing
to do! The children came away from both with positive
messages through song and positive feelings
about themselves. Keith's performance suited our school's
'Virtues Project' perfectly! Thank you
Keith for your passion and rapport with everyone. I would
not hesitate to recommend this show to
other schools.

School, Boulder. (W.A. June 2004)
Very motivational and innovative. Up to date and
interactive. Keith had all students involved and
totally engrossed 100% of the time.
Highly recommended for
any age group from PP - Year 7.
Mary Piscioneri Principal Anzac Terrace PS 9 February 2004
I am able to confirm that Keith McDonald (Mr. Mac's Music)
presented sessions at Anzac Terrace Primary
School in October, 2003. This involved individual class
sessions and a whole school performance. Mr.
McDonald was very professional in his manner. He worked very
hard to ensure that his programme met
our needs and linked to our school priorities. He did not
just present a pre-planned programme. He
readily sought feedback from staff and students and modified
content and presentation if it was
required. All classes responded positively to the programme
with some differences in the level of
enthusiam and participation. Class/student ratings ranged
from 'okay' to 'really great'. I recommend
Mr. McDonald's work because he is very sincere and dedicated
to what he does. It was very pleasing to
work with someone who was willing to devise the programme
that suited our needs.

Dear Keith, Thanks for bringing your entertaining, highly
motivational, extremely positive,
interactive and kid-friendly show to our small rural school.
The reactions of the students, parents
and staff to your performance confirmed that everyone
enjoyed participating through the actions and
singing along with the songs. I thoroughly enjoyed the
performance and felt like I was ten years old
again! I'm sure your CD will be very popular with all the
classes. Best wishes for future
performances. Maria van der Linden

"We enjoyed a stimulating, high energy performance by "Mr.

MR. MAC
Students commenced their lessons on a really positive note
today, attending “The Mr Mac Music
Show”. The presenter Keith McDonald was able to follow on
from his workshops last week, entertaining
the children with his “bright and informative” songs . His
message fits comfortably within the
school’s values, highlighting self esteem and attitude. We
really thank Keith for providing us all
with a wonderful musical experience. (Gavin Thorn Deputy
Principal)
Matthew Gibney Catholic Primary School, High Wycombe
Wednesday 24th July 2002
Dear Keith,
We thoroughly enjoyed your visit to Matthew Gibney last
week. The show for 100 children from kindy,
pre-primary, years one and two was really age appropriate and
we could see all of the children joining unenthusiastically. The younger students particularly
enjoyed the familiar songs and liked following
the actions, whilst the older children understood the humour
and messages in your songs. It also left
them with some topics to explore in class. The Kindy
children talked about 'the music man' all
day! Thanks for a great time – we appreciated your manner and
professionalism. Hope to see you back
here for another junior primary show.
Yours Sincerely,
Chelsea De Luca (Pre-Primary Teacher - Matthew Gibney

Tranby College Tuesday 20th Nov 2001
Recently our preprimary-Year 6 students had a visit from Mr.
Mac and his music show. The students and
the teachers loved every moment. There were lots of good
values to be learned, lots of actions to do
while joining in with the songs so that the students felt
they played an active part. Mr. Mac kept
the attention and interest of all the various age ranges for
the whole session and still we could
have enjoyed more! It was our music teachers day off but she
came in for the performance and was
very pleased she did. It has given lots of ideas for follow
up lessons. We love music at Tranby.
Thanks Mr. Mac.

many desirable educational values. It was good to see our
senior students totally involved. Staff

system, wonderful rapport with the

Keith The teachers and I really appreciated your work with
our students- most entertaining, and some
great lessons contained in the songs and stories. I
particularly appreciated the Helen Keller story.
Your manner with the classes, as well as with the large
group was such that the kids listened,
appreciated , enjoyed and wanted to participate.
Excellent...............God bless ya Keith .......

Yesterday Keith McDonald performed an entertaining and
educational show at our school. His repertoire
catered for the full range of our students and covered
subjects such as self esteem and courage in
the face of adversity. His melodic voice and lively manner
engaged the audience in a number of fun
action songs. The pace was well moderated and judging by the
children's comments after the show, it
was money well spent. Teacher- Mt Hawthorn Primary

Hannans Primary School
On behalf of the staff and students of Hannans Primary
School, I would like to sincerely thank you
for the enjoyable and entertaining performances you gave. In
an area so geographically isolated as
Kalgoorlie, it is often difficult to book quality
entertainers for students. However the children's
reaction to you was wonderful-they obviously enjoyed each
and everyone of your songs. The staff
reaction was very positive they particularly enjoyed your
new version of Indiana Jones. Thank you for
visiting us in Kalgoorlie and I am sure the staff and
students at Hannans Primary would love to
invite you back to perform again next year. Wishing you a
safe journey back to Perth….Nicki Stewart
